Finish a recording and open an editable transcript with playback, so you can fix a word while hearing what you actually said.
Share as a formatted note
One tap to the native share sheet — into Messages, Mail, Notes, or anywhere else that takes text.
Keeps a local history
Past recordings, transcripts, timestamps, and your edits stay on the device. You choose what's kept and for how long.
Keeps recording in the background
Background recording is available and stays under your control in Settings.
How it works
- Grant microphone and speech recognition access once, on first launch.
- Open the app — recording starts immediately.
- Stop when you're done, then choose Edit to clean up the transcript or Share to send it on.
- Everything you've recorded stays in local history until you remove it.
Where your voice goes: nowhere
Transcription happens on your iPhone using Apple's built-in Speech framework. ShareSpeak has no account, no sign-in, and no server of its own — recordings, transcripts, and edits are stored locally on the device and are not uploaded, synced, or shared with us or anyone else. Deleting a recording in the app deletes it.
